Armando Broja has been very good for Sothampton on loan from Chelsea

McNeil is a good player, but he's just not quick enough. We are in dire need of pace on the flanks. I can see Moyes wanting him, though.

I cannot see us being able to get Rudiger to join I would have thought tarkowski would be a more realistic target
Either of them as partner to zouma would be a great cb pairing though

Master, I really like Taylor, i also think Target is a brilliant left back, miles better than the overrated Digne, but I reckon Newcastle will sign him on a permanent.
Omar Richards is different level though, could be our left back for a decade.

Omar Richards is absolute class, would be top of the list, he can't quite hold down the left back spot at Bayern but no shame in that. Ideally I'd like Broja, but if we couldn't get him then Watkins would be ideal for how Moyes likes his striker to play, and apparently Villa would be open to selling.

From what I saw of the Man U game, Lingard looked lively, but got hooked. I'd have him back in a heart beat.
Puki would be worth a punt. He's a very good player but goes under the radar because he looks like Tintin's 'special' younger brother.

Sorry to be pedantic but I'd want some definition of 'realistically'. Yea we bid for Raphina in January but everyone is looking at him and there's talk Barcelona will be in. I don't see that as a realistic target. I always think it's worth looking at the better players at struggling clubs but much will depend on if we win the UEFA or qualify again for Europe. WIthout that anyone we could 'realistically' sign will probably go to Newcastle.
